CELEBRATING PRIVATE EDUCATION EXCELLENCE 2017
IN CONJUNCTION WITH NATIONAL TEACHERS DAY CELEBRATION

Greetings from Koperasi Pendidikan Swasta Malaysia Berhad!
Koperasi Pendidikan Swasta Malaysia Berhad, also known as Educoop, is a cooperative whose membership is open to teachers, lecturers, employees of education institutions, owners of institutions, students above 18 years of age, parents and all other stakeholders in the private education industry.
The vision of Educoop is to be a leading Malaysian private education cooperative committed to serving its members and to the well-being of the society. Its mission is to establish a strong network among members, to empower them through education and training opportunities, to enable them to enjoy welfare and financial assistance benefits and to create investment opportunities for good returns.
In conjunction with the upcoming Teachers Day Celebration on 16th May 2017, it is our pleasure to invite you to the above mentioned event, the objective of which is to recognize outstanding private educators from all private institutions in Malaysia. Please do take a moment to complete the enclosed form whereby you can nominate individuals from your institution for the following recognition categories:
- National Outstanding Educator Award (University Category)
- National Outstanding Researcher Award (University Category)
- National Outstanding Innovator Award (University Category)
- National Outstanding Educator Award (College Category)
- National Outstanding Educator Award (School Category)
- National Outstanding Educator Award (Preschool / Learning Centre / Other Educational Centre Category)
- Long Service Award (30 Years & Above in Teaching Profession)
The details of the event are as follows:-
Date : 20th May 2017 (Saturday)
Time : 2.00pm – 5.30pm
Venue / Host : First City University College,
No.1, Persiaran Bukit Utama, Bandar Utama,
47800 Petaling Jaya
Cost : No fees charged for the participation
Dress code : Business / formal attire
We would be selecting deserving educators to receive recognitions which will be given out during the event. We seek your kind cooperation to nominate candidates from your institutions for our independent and professional panel of judges to select deserving recipients for the said categories.
A Registration and Nomination Form is attached herewith for your use and completed forms must reach Educoop office by 30 April 2017 for our further action. Email completed form/s to (educoopmalaysia@gmail.com).
Award recipients and representatives from the institutions will then be officially invited to attend the event on 20th May 2017, which is also expected to be officiated by the Ministry of Education. For your information, a similar celebration was held in the past years with the support of Ministry of Education Malaysia.
